I just got back from a great trip around Italy – Pisa, Florence, Venice and Bologna. Again, it strikes me what a terrific education for a person, and a PUA especially, travelling is.

I frequently recommend that a newbie go travelling as part of his training. Why? Because it develops alpha qualities naturally by teaching self-reliance, resourcefulness and an ability to interact with people in an effective way.

Going on inter-rail trips around Europe taught me so much about how to meet people, how to understand life’s social dynamics, how to manage situations to my advantage and generally honed my PU skills to a huge degree. I became hugely more experienced in dealing with new situations and added flexibility in massive amounts. It teaches non-reaction skills and calibration because you have to quickly sum up a a person’s motivation for interacting with you. Are they on the level or scam artists? Judge correctly or misjudge either way and you could be significantly poorer or more sexually experienced and fulfilled.

Think of travelling solo (and I recommend this) as being like resistance training for your muscles. When you can bench press 300 pounds without a thought, pushing a light obstacle is a piece of cake. So it is both socially and in terms of reliance – if you can get meet new people in the bars of Budapest, survive street scams in Bucharest and take Swedish hotties down the pub in Berlin then going home and facing the local slappers, their loser boyfriends and the shit your phone company is trying to pull on you is a piece of piss; light weight fare.

Go travelling on your own for a week, two weeks, a month, six weeks or more. You’ll learn more about the world, other people and yourself than you ever could do from sitting home worrying about head constructions and second guessing what some chick thinks. She thinks surprisingly little and infrequently.

There are a thousand other chicks looking to hook up in the bars and clubs of Barcelona, Belgrade and Birmingham every night. And the training of life experience you gain is incomparable. It forces you to be out there in the field for days at a time.

 Rich princes, local gentry and sons of Dukes used to take the Grand Tour as part of their education in the past. The same education is available to you for a fraction of the cost and at much greater experience in today’s socially mobile world. I’ve hooked up with UN Representatives, marine biologists, a girl who was reincarnated as a princess and a girl who was quite sure she was a mermaid names Ariel. And those are the sane ones. But that is another story.

Oh and I met the best the PUA I’ve ever had the pleasure of sarging with. I lived with him for a year in Germany, picking up a heck of a lot of what makes him so good.
